The Railway conference rejected the wages offer which has been referred hack to the executive for further negotiation with the Government. The railwaymen resolved on demanding a standard wage in each grade equal to the highest pre-war rates in each grade, plus 33s war wage. Therefor© they returned the recent proposals to the Government.
