The Dublin Court awarded £BSO as compensation to the pa.-ents of Constable Bowling', who was shot in October. Outrages contmue in Ireland. A man wearing- a disguise held up a railway porter at a small station near Limerick, and while covering- him with a revolver ransacked a mailbag- and 'iecamped with all the valuables from th2 bag. Two masked cyclists iebbed a small,motor near Mullingar. Several men attacked a mail car in a roadway in Ga.lway. They knocked the driver senseless and searched the mail bags. Thieves again entered *he Northstand post office in Dublin and recured £2OO. ANOTHER BARRACKS ATTACKED. BUILDING WRECKED WITH BOMBS (Australian and N.Z. Cable lAssn.) Received January 12, 1.55 p.m. LONDON, January 10. A hundred Sinn Feiners, with revolvers and shot guns, attacked the police barracks at Castle Hackett, in County Gal way, and wrecked it wiah bombs, "wounding a policeman who was returnling the fire from behind steel shutters. Another party of police came up, and surprised the Sinn Feiners in the rear. The Sinn Feiners fled. In all these attacks on barracks the police were outnumbered tenfold. The Tines' Dublin correspondent states that the Unionist Anti-Partition Party, headed by Lord Middleton, has rejected the Government's Home Rule Rilll proposals, being convinced that .f control of three-fourths of the country he entrusted to revolutionists, the secession of south provinces and the declaration of a republic will immediately follow.
