A SUICIDE’S LEGACY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TAUMABUNUI, Friday. At the inquest on Claud Bentizcn, whose body was found near the Kaitioko creek, with the head blown oil' by gelignite, a verdict that deceased committed suicide whilst mentally unbalanced, was returned. Mrs Beaumont, a boardinghousekeeper, handed the police a bag containing £241, which deceased told her to keep if lie never returned. She will make a claim for the money. FURTHER CASES OF INFLUENZA. WELLINGTON, Friday. Three further cases of influenza have occurred on the Patcena, and the patients have been removed to hospital. The cases are stated not to lie serious. The Mapourika is replacing Hie Patccna on the Piclon-Nelson run.
