A second great feature story, also, of star rank, will be the “Jewel master picture, “The Price of a Good Time,” a human drama, in which Mildred Harris (Mrs Charlie Chaplin) has risen to a fame almost as great as her popular husband. Paramount’s special attraction, “Don’t Change Your Husband,” secured at enormous expense, opens tonight. It is a Cecil de Mille production, and stars Gloria gfwanson in conjunction with a magnificent east. It tells of a woman who. tired of her husband because he ale onions, and went lo sleep with a cigar in his mouth. After the divorce she married a man whose niceties were finely developed—and then she learnt things. Her old husband spruced himself up, and, womanlike, when she found she couldn't get him, she wanted him. There is also an entirely new comedy, “The Sheriff,” by the world’s highest salaried comedian, “Fatty Arbuckle,” which eclipses all his previous comedies for delightful humour and clever original fun. There are also other good supports. Orchestral music is provided, and special prices Is 7d, Is Id, and 6d are being charged. KING’S THEATRE. About the biggest and best bill ever screened at the King’s Theatre shows this evening. The distinguished actor, John Barrymore, reproduces on the sheet his celebrated stage pourtrayal of E. W. Hornung’s book and play, “Raffles, the Amateur Cracksman,” in seven massive acts. The Evening Post, of Wellington, wrote: “The picture is a masterpiece, and must wan universal admiration.” The one and only Charles Chaplin will star in his veritable fun scream, “The Fireman,” in 2 reels of unadulterated fun. Another exciting episode of that splendid and astonishingly popular serial story, “The Fightin” Trail,” will complete the massive list, the screening time of which wall be two and a-half hours. The King’s orchestra will accompany the unfoldings. Scats may be reserved over ’phone 580 up till 7 p.m.
