CUBAN SUGAR CROPS
NOT WANTED BY UNITED STATES. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received January 8, 8.35 p.m. WASHINGTON, Jan. 7. A cable received from President Menocal, of Cuba, stales that half of Cuba’s sugar crop will still be available, and advocates its purchase by the United Stales. Mr Wilson recently announced that the United Slates does not contemplate acquiring the IJ-0 Cuban crop.
