The Secretary of the Navy, Mr Josephus Daniels, announces that he has received £OOOO, raised by popular subscription in Britain for the purpose of commemorating the Dover * Patrol. The United Stales will use the funds to erect a monolith in New York harbour in honour of th e American Naval forces who participated in the patrol work.
