FAMISHED AND EXHAUSTED
THE MISSING TOURISTS. FOUND AT MOUNT ALPHA. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. The police ,last night received information that the party which was missing on Tararua Mountains had been found by Constable Mclntosh and Mr Webster, of Grey town. Verv few details arc given, but it appears that th c two ladies , (of whom Miss Louise Mack was one) and a gentleman were discovered at 8 a.m. yesterday at Mount Alpha. They were in a famishing condition, and iiad spent three nights without cover. They had reached tae Mount Alpha but at G, p.m. on Wednesday, and their condition was so bad that they could not walk. They were brought on horses to thc Waiohine Gully, where the telephone was used to summon a motor car from Grey town. A car was sent out, and its return was expected in Greytown last evening. WELLINGTON, Monday.
A telegram from Greytown states that Miss Louise Mack and party arrived at Greytown last night. The ladies were slightly fatigued, but otherwise well. They are leaving by motor for Olaki to-day.
