DEEP IMPRESSION CAUSED. by the conference decisions. PORTE MAY REFUSE TO SIGN. (Reuter’s Telegrams.) Received January 7. 5.5 p.m. PARIS, January 4. Advices from Constantinople state that forecasts of the decision of the Peace Conference, especially the rumour that the custody of the Straits is to be taken from Turkey, have created a deep impression.
