He has a yk great deal of Continental training and ■ experience, and has been connected 90 with some of the most notable orchestral combinations in the United Kingdom.

Three New Zealand'medical men have passed a special and ordinary primary examination for the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons. Of 141 candidates, 67 were anproved. The New Zealanders, all of whom had served in the New Zealand Medical Corps, are J. A. Jenkins (New Zealand and Middlesex Hospital), previously attached to the N.Z.M.G. Battalion; K. MacCormick (New Zealand and University College), Ma;'or, N.Z.M.C., D.A.D.M.S., New Zealand Division: and L. A. Speddins (New Zealand and Middlesex Hospital), previously attached to No. 3 New Zealand General Hospital, Codford.
