further demands. STEWARDS AND PANTRYMEN. (United Press Association.) Received January 6, 1.15 a.m. SYDNEY, January 5. The latest developments in the shipping trouble is an ultimatum issued by the Stewards and Pantrymens Association, demanding increases m pay, ranging from 22 to 27A per cent, overtime pay for Sundays and holidays, an eio-ht-hour day while at sea and m intermediate ports, and six hours while in terminal ports, a month’s holiday foi the chief steward .and a fortnight foi all other ranks on full pay.
