A TRAVELLING EXHIBITION. . TO ATTRACT DOMINION TRADE. (Renter.) Received Jan. 4, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, January 2. The Secretary of the Department for Overseas Trade, in an interview said the Treasury had sanctioned expenditure on a scheme under which a travelling exhibition of British manufactures will be held in the principal commercial centres of South Africa, Australasia. Canada, ana possibly the Far East. This exhibition will be designed to attract the Dominions' buyCTS with a minimum of expense and inconvenience to them. It will stay in each centre about six weeks, and the lour will last two years. He also referred to measures talcen to develop British commerce amongst foreign nations, and said the German Government had already realised the success of the British Industries Pair held last year, and had granted a substantial subsidy to flght it.
