220 YARDS N.S.W. CHAMPIONSHIP. WON BY ROSS. (United Press Association.) Received January 4, 5.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Dec. 4. Special interest was taken in the New South Wales 220 yards swimming championship, owing to Ross, the American champion, competing. The race resulted: Ross 1, Kirkland 2, LongWOrth 3. Though he has not yet had time to strike full form, Boss won easily by Hiree yards in 2.32 4-5.
