TE KUITI HOSPITAL PROPOSAL
♦ COMMITTEE TO REPORT. A.Government section, of the value of about £IOOO, has been secured as a hospital site by the people of Te Kuiti, and Mr R. Boddy, at a meeting of the Waikato Hospital Board yesterday, asked the Board's sanction to the erection of a hospital there. The motion was opposed by several, members on the grounds that the Board should not commit itself to an unknown expense, and -on Mr Boddy explaining that the local authorities wished to do everything in full knowledge of the Board, the matter was referred to the House Committee, at which Mr Boddy was invited to be present.
