The Manchester Guardian’s London correspondent says that 70,000 soldiers and 12,000 police are searching Ireland for concealed arms. A week’s search has yielded only a few revolvers, and the Sinn Fein secret arsenals are apparently intact. It is reported that several other Dublin detectives are warned that they will share Hoey’s fat*.
