SHANTUNG CONCESSIONS. SOVEREIGN RIGHTS NOT SOUGHT. PREPARED TO WITHDRAW TROOPS. LONDON, Aug. 6. Mr Uchida, the Japanese Foreign Minister, emphasises that Japan has no intention of claiming rights affecting China's territorial sovereignty at Shantung. It only claims the economic privileges previously granted to Germany. Japan is prepared to withdraw her troops.
