HAMILTON STOCK SALE
The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Co. report:— At Hamilton yesterday we held our weekly sale, when we yarded 473 sheep, 257 head of cattle, and 90 pigs. We quote: Fat cows, £lO 7s 6d to £ll 3s; store cows, £6 17s to £8; two and a half-year-old steers, £8 12s Cd to £9 lis;"calves, 37s to £2 ss; 22s to 31s. Pigs: Choppers, up to £5 17s Gd; baconers, from £3 17s to £4 14s; porkers, £3 6s to £4 ss. Sheep: Fat sheep, 30s 6d; store wethers, 23s 9d to 24s 6d; lambs, 10s 9d. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report:— Prices ruling at Hamilton yesterdav were as follows:—Light"fat steers, £l3 ss; fat cows, £9 16s to £10; bulls, £9 10s to £lO 15s; two and a-half-year-okl heifers, in calf, £8 12s to £9 10s: well grown calves, £1 18s to £2 lis; .'mall calves, £1 Is to £1 ss; two-year-old heifers, in calf, £6 15s to £7 15s;. store ewes, 10s to 13s; forward lambs, 19s; small woollv lambs, 8s Gd to 8s lOd; Heavy fat pigs. £5 14s to £6 16s; medium do., £4 lis to £5 9s. others £3 16s to £4 4s; rood slips, £1 7s to £1 9s; weaners, 12s 6d to 14s.
