SCHOOL CHILDRENS’ MESSAGE
APPRECIATED BY FIGHTING FORCES. (By Telegraph. —Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. The Governor-General has been asked by His Majesty’s Government to convey to the school children of New Zealand the thanks of the fighting forces of the British Empire and the Allied nations for their message on the occasion of the signing of the armistice between The Allied Powers and Germany, and to assure the school children that the sentiments to which they have been given expression are much appreciated.
