Cable Assn.) Received March 27, 7.40 p.m. PARIS, March 2G. The Chamber of Deputies has adopted a Bill demolishing the city fortifications, allowing the natural expansion of the city. The demobilisation will enable the construction of gardens, parks and dwellings. SUGAR INDUSTRY. ROYAL COMMAS '.'N APPOINTED. (United Press Association.) Received March 27, 10.10 p.m. SYDNEY, March 27. The Commonwealth Government is appointing a Royal Commission to inquire into the sugar industry in Australia in regard to the world shortage and the high price of production, also to consider the question of constitution of Government control of the industry.
