We held our monthly stock sale at Tirau on Tuesday and had a good yarding, and quote as under:—l'at bullocks, light, up to £ls; fat cows, £ll lOs to £1 3 f»s; two-year steers, 17 10s to £'J 10s; two-year empty heifers, up to 1.1 ss: good quality yearling steers, £G to £7 Its; yearling heifers, £4 15s to £5 15s. MATAMATA SALE. On Wednesday, October 10, we held our monthly stock sale at Matamata. We report a large yarding and quote: Fat bullocks, light, up to £li lfts; fat. cows, £l2 lo £li; fresh cows, £8 10s to £lO 15s: store cows, £6 to £7 15s: three-year bullocks, £l2 to £!.'! ss; two-year steers, up to £'.> ss: two-year empty heifers, £7 15s to £H 10s: yearling steers made up to £6 ss; heifers up to £('). Dairy cattle: Cows, £l2 io £ls; forward heifers, £ls to £1!) ss; others, £lO 5s to £l4 10s.
