THE PEACE MOVE
POSITION OF GERMANY'S ALLIES. TIRED OF HER DOMINATION. AN EARLY BREAK PROBABLE. (Australian r.nrl N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received October 19. 10.45 a.m. NEW YORK, Oct. 18. The New York Times' Washington correspondent states that the authoritative opinion is that the conditions in Turkey and Austria-Hungary"will force tbern to break with Germany. The rulers of Turkey and Austria-Hungary will lie forced to acquiesce with the + imperialistic demands of their people. Dispatches received indicate that the Emperor Karl's efforts to hold in check the situation will probably prove unavailing. The hatred of German domination is growing. Press dispatches from Basle say that Baron Burian's optimistic speech regarding the approaching peace aroused the greatest interest in official and diplomatic circles, though it was pointed out that his utterances must be listened to with reserve, as his aim was primarily to quiet the unrest at home. home quarters believe that Germany will soon declare her acceptance of Mr NVilson's terms.
