W Owing to the postponement of tho January and subsequent drafts, tho first ballot in Class I) will nut now lie taken before Fehruaiy, so men of this class will concentrate at the earliest in •June, The recruiting position is very strong. Drafts up to and including the March draft are up to strength. Kirst Division voluntary recruits and appellants after appeals have been dismissed unconditionally will therefore lie given leave till the draft is concentrating in April. Second Divison appellants will lie similarly dealt wi* I '. and will have leave till the draft th".t is to go into camp at the end of May.
