THE NEXT WAR LOAN
TERMS ANNOUNCED SHORTLY. By Telegraph—Pros* Association. WELLINGTON, Friday. The terms of the next war loan are to be announced shortly. Although the Finance .Minister has mentioned that Canada is paying- 5i per cent, free of income tax, it is understood that he is disinclined to make any change from the terms of the last loan, that is 41 per cent, free of income tax. The Minister has opposed anything that will tond to make money dearer in New ZeaI'lnd, and lias a lever of the proved efficiency in the compulsory clauses of the Finance Act.
