The Assembly was so perturbed at the Germans 1 reported debacle and the Kaiser's alleged abdication that the Premier said it was impossible for members to settle to their legislative duties in an atmosphere of such excitement. The Opposition leader agreed and the House immediately adjourned to await the official confirmation of the good news before meeting again on Tuesday.
