ALLEGED MANSLAUGHTER
KIDDLE BEFORE THE COURT. ACCUSED REMANDED OX BAIL. Arising out of the death of Adam Fort, through knocked down by a motor car at the corner of Victoria and Collingwood streets. Hamilton, a young man named, Martin Kiddle, the driver of the ear, was arrested early this morning. Kiddle was brought before Mr Rawson, S.M., at the Police Court, and charged with manslaughter. He was represented by Mr MacDiarmid, and pleaded not guilty. Senior-Sergeant Cassells, for the police, asked for a remand until the 22nd inst. . Bail wa s allowed in two sureties of £l5O each.
