UPPER MANGAPIKO DRAINAGE BOARD
At a meeting of the Upper Mangapiko Drainage Board, the following members were present: Messrs J. W. Peake (chairman), Noel Peake, W. J. Park, H. C. Bertleson, and H. S. Strawbridge. The Board's engineer reported on the probable cost to the Board of Storey's outlet drain, but pointed out that an assessment would have to be made before the actual figures could be arrived at.—lt was resolved to request Mr C. J. Potts to re-assess the lands affected by Storey's outlet drain and report to the Board as soon as possible, also that he be requested lo asses the subdivision of Mr Bertiesen's property. A wire was received from the superintendent of the Advances Office that the Board's application for a second loan of £6OO would be considered at the earliest possible date. It was decided to hold the next meeting of the Board at Gricedale.
