1.1. The Company shall be entitled to retain, as its own property, and without any payment or allowance, all offal of stock slaughtered at the abattoir save and except the hides and skins of all slock, and the following portions of cattle, calves, sheep, lambs, and pigs, respectively:— CATTLK —Tail to be left on quarter. Tongue with cheeks attached. Skirts to be left on quarter. Kidneys to be left in. Haul fat. Heed fat. Crown gut fat. Heart. Tripe (to be washed only by the Company's workmen). Liver, if passed by the Inspector. OALYKS—Head, feet and sweetbread. SIIEF.P AND LAMPS—CauI fat, head and pluck. PUlS—Pluck, caul and crown fat. tl. If required the Company will supply the following sundries to butchers at the following rates: — (ix Hunners, bung and weasand, Is per set. Ox Blood, fid per gallon; butchers to provide receptacles for carriage. Ox Brains, fid per set. Ox Sweetbreads, fid per set. IT>. The Company will pay the owners for the carcases of all stock condemned by the Inspector and retained at the abattoir at the rate of 3s fid per 1001b dressed weight. tfi. The Company will receive and kill stock at the abattoir and dress and deliver the meat, hides, skins, and sundries thereof into the carts or waggons of the butchers or into railway trucks and deliver such railway trucks in the Ilorotiu siding of the Government railway ,f6r the following charges:— s. d. No carcase or portion of a carcase shall be removed from the abattoir until the same has been examined and marked or stamped by the Inspector with such mark or stamp and in such manner as the Act or any regulations made thereunder requires.

19. No person shall remove any meat from the abattoir within 12 hours after slaughter, except with the permission of the Inspector. 20. The meat of all animals slaughtered at the abattoir shall be removed by the owner thereof within 48 hours after slaughter unless the Company shall have undertaken the storage of the same in the chilling chamber or in the freezing chamber. 21. No person shall remove any meat, hides, skins, fat, or offal from the abattoir except by authority of the manager or some person authorised by him to deliver the same. 22. No person shall remove any meat, hides, skins, fat or offal from the abattoir until he has signed a receipt for the same and delivered such receipt to the Manager or other official of the Company authorised to receive the same. 23. No person shall carry any meat away from the. abattoir in any cart or vehicle unless such cart or vehicle is in a clean and proper condition for the carriage of meat and in all respects complies with the requirements of the Act or any regulations made thereunder. 24. All persons engaged in loading or moving meat at the abattoir shall bo dressed in clean and proper clothing for such purpose. 25. All fees payable under thesn regulations shall be payable by the owners of the stock before the removal of the meat or any part thereof from the abattoir, PROVIDED ALWAYS that the Company will grant to approved butchers regularly using the abattoir for the slaughter of stock, monthly accounts, si'oh accounts to be paid on or before the seventh day of the succeeding month.
