AUTONOMY IN AUSTRO-HUNGARY. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received October 11. 1.10 p.m. COPENHAGEN, Oct. 10. Advices from Vienna state that the Ministerial Council has decided to introduce national autonomy, thereby meeting President Wilson's stipulation. BERNE. October 10. A movement favouring the separation of the monarchies is progressing in Austro-Hungary. The Czecho and mid-southern Slav newspapers declare that arrangements are proceeding for the creation of separate Czech and Slav States. Moscow telegrams announce the early proclamation of a union of all Polish territories. A Congress representing the German associations in Austria resolved in favour of the creation of a German State in Austria. GERMAN WAR MINISTER RESIGNS. (Reuter's Telegrams.) Received October 11, 1.10 p.m. COPENHAGEN, Oct. 10. Official Berlin advices report that the resignation of the War Minister, General von Stein, lias been accepted. Major-General Schench succeeds him.
