Live stock breeders, wool growers, hemp millers and hunting enthusiasts are reminded that entries in these divisions are due to close to-morrow (Saturday). The choice is exceedingly varied with very fine prizes to be had in all the divisions. Late entries will be received, with' late fee added, up to 19th inst. The cheering news from the warring fronts has had a good effect upon the public, with the result that a heter outlook on life had been created. This is reacting on Shov. matters aR well as purely business affairs, and provided tho weather is reasonably fine another red.letter event in the annals of the association will be the forthcoming Show on the 30th and 31st inst. His Worship the Mayor of Palmerston is interesting himself in getting together a display of work done by returned soldiers, for which he is offering prizes. Space has l>een granted free hy tho Association and a very interesting and educational exhibit is anticipated. Those who have not a schedule can get one free on application to the secretary, P.O. box 85, Palmerston North.
