Ten members were transferred from the Morrinsville branch, and seven new members elected, the. whole l>eing elected an executive committee of the branch. A committee consisting of Messrs Parkinson, Patten, and J. C. Chapman, was set up to canvass for the lied Cross campaign, and a second committee to arrange socials for the same purpose was also set up. It was resolved to join the Thames Valley Sub-Provincial Union; also to fix the subscription to the branch ni £l. The president (Mr Parkinson) was elected a delegate to the Sub-Pro-vincial Union. ! GENERAL. \ At a meeting of the Morrinsville branch of the Red Cross the resignaI tinon of Miss Walls as secretary was j received with regret, and Mrs Layne | was elected to the vacant position. Rifleman Corrie, who has been invalided home suffering from shell shock, returned to Morrinsville during the week.
