THE WAIPA BRIDGE
ALLOCATIONS AGREED ON. A conference was held at Ngaruawahia yesterday to discuss the allocations in regard to the re-erection of the bridge over the Waipa at Ngaruawahia. There were present Messrs Johnston, Seavill and Otway, Raglan County Council; R.Fisher, Waipa" Countv Council; T. Paterson, Waikato County Council; and J. R. Hetherington, Ngaruawahia Town Board. After some discussion the allocations were unanimously fixed as follow: ftaglan Countv 50 per cent, Ngaruawahia Town Board 30 per cent, Waipa County 15 per cent, and'Waikato County 5 per cent. As soon as the contributing bodies have arranged their finance the work of erection will be taken in hand by the Government.
