WILSON URGES CONSCRIPTION. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received April 18, 1.45 a.m. WASHINGTON, April 17. Although the House Committee recorded an informal vote against conscription it is believed that the sentiment of the House favours it, and Mr Wilson will strongly insist that conscription is essential. AMERICA'S ENTRY. CELEBRATIONS IN BRITAIN. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received April 18, 12.35 p.m. LONDON, April 17. Every town in the Kingdom will be beflagged un Friday with the Stars and Stripes, and patriotic demonstrations in all the theatres and music halls will be allowed. Mr Lloyd George and Lord Curzon on Wednesday will move in the Houses of Commons and Lords respectively appreciation of America's joining the Allies.'
