FINAL CONFERENCE AT TE AWAMUTU.

On Saturday afternoon a final conference was held at Te Awamutu between the representatives of the No. 4 (KawaWharepulmnga) area and the No. 6" (M.iihiihi-Rangiatea) area, with a view to agreeing to suitable boundaries. The delegates were as follows: —Messrs Geo. Kay and J. B. Teasdale (Te Kawa), Robert E. Taylor and L. J. Hooper (Ngahape), J. A. Jamieson (Korakonui) and S. Pratt (Wharepuhunga ind Ngaroma), representing the No. 4 area, F. Worstold and F. Phillips (Ma-ibJ-hi) representing the No. 5 area; Mr J. A. Young, M.P., as representing the M'Piste- of Internal Affairs prj.ldod After considerable discussion the provisional boundaries were revised, and approved by the several parties, who all signed the map. Mr Phillips moved, and Mr Worsfold seconded, that it be a recommendation to the Minister of Internal Affairs that the name of the No. 5 area be called "Mangaorongo" Road District.—Carrie:]. It was resolved, on the motion of Mr Geo. Kay, seconded by Mr Pratt, that the name of the No. 4 area be called "Wharepapa" Road District.

On the motion of Mr Jamieson a hearty vote of thanks was accorded Mr Young for 'the part he had trAen in bringing the various representatives together, and thus enabling them to satisfaciorily adjust their difficulties.- Mr Young undertook to report to the Minister the result of the conference.
