Received Sept. 1, 10.ST) a.m. LONDON, August 31. An Italian communique states that we repulsed attacks on the Upper Posino and Astico Valleys. The enemy intensely bombarded our new positions at Gauriol. The enemy is trying to consolidate in the Gorizia-Carso areas.
