NIGHT MOVEMENTS OF TROOPS. EXPECTED DEPORTATION OF POPULACE. (Austraban and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received August 28,15.5 p.m.
AMSTERDAM, August 28. The Echo PBelge learns of the. constant night movements of German trains conveying the troops of the Antwerp garrison towards the front. It is rumoured that the Germans intend to deport the Belgians similarly to the residents in Northern France. It is reported that 1200 have already left Ghent.
