FASTEST THING IN THE WORLD
BRITAIN'S NEW AERIAL FIGHTING MACHINE. FURTHER ZEPPELIN RAIDS REGARDED AS IMPOSSIBLE. (United Service.) Received August 23, 8 p.m. LONDON, August 25. Mr Grey, editor of the Aeroplane, writing in the Evening Standard, states that the new type of small British fighting machine, which has already destroyed 27 Fokkers, is the fastest thing in the world except a gun projectile. The machine can outclimb airships, and is such an improvement on the British aeroplanes that it will soon be impossible for Zeppelins lo get away, if indeed they are ever able to reach England.
