Truck on Fire.
) CUASED BY SPARK FROM
ENGINE.
When the Morrinsville to Frankton slow train pulled up at Ruakura Junction this (afternoon it was found that a truck close to the engine was on fire. The contents consisted of bottled beer in cases with straw padding and it is surmised that a spark from the engine Set fire to the straw, tba speed of the train fanning- the spark into a flame. It was at once run under the locomotive water supply tank and thoroughly soused. No appreciable damage was done to either truck or contents.
