ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
SHOT THROUGH THE HEART

NAPIER, Thursday
John Shera. aged 30, clerk in the N.Z. Insurance Co., was found dead in the Company's office this morning shot through the heart by a doublebarrelled gun, both cartridges of which were discharged, deceased formerly lived in Auckland and was a South African contingeoter, rising from the position of private to lieutenant.
