There is serious anxiety regarding the steamer Rose-hale, three days overdue from Nambucca. Steamers are now searching for her. She has a crew of eighteen and about nine aboard.

A passing steamer sighted wreckage consisting of hatches and doors afi Smoky Cape, where the Rosedale w a s last seen on Friday, just before the southerly sale started. A steamer has been sent to tigateIt is feared that the Rosedale has foundered with all hands. The crew consists of Captain Emerson ; chief officer. Ferrick : second, Davis ; chief steward, unknown ; second. Hood ; cook. Ghaafe ; stewardess Miss Rafferty ; chief engineer. Harrower ; second, Speer ; donkey-man, Palmer', firemen. Kelly, Russell and Nordblom ; seamen. Jins"-n, Dyer. Whalgreen, McDonald and Jack ; passengers, Messrs Anderson. Duncan and Matammey ;, Mes lames Murphy, Cook and two or three others whose names nre unknown.
