IS, 8.55 a.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 18. j The Australian Wheelers' notice at the New Lambton seapits has expir- j ed and the men will not start to-day ; adding largely 'Lo. the thousand j miners already idle. At Newcastle the trouble threatens other collieries in the near future. (Received SepL. 18, 8.55 a.m.) PERTH, Sept. 18. The colliers, on strike at the Collieburn colliery have acknowleiged the offer of the Scottish colliers' company to take over and work the property as a co-operative concern. A company has been formed with 250 9hares at £IOO each, and starts operations to-day.
