Te Awamutu Town Board.
.... LOAN PROPOSALS. (Own Correspondent.) A special meeting of the above Board took plaoe on Friday evening last, there being present—Messrs C'h&s. Bo'wden (chairaJan)', A. S. Wallace, G. H. White, and S. Matthews. Mr Su-gGtate, engineer, of Auckland, was in attendance and reported on the sewerage of the town. It was decided to submit three issues to the ratepayers for approval at the poll as under : Water supply, iJ 15,000; sewerage, £2500 ; streets, £2500 ; total £20,000. —The clerk was instructed to proceed with the necessary steps for borrowing the amount.
