MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of tire Leamington Town Board was neld in the Public Hiall on Wednesday everting. There wore present—Messrs W. White (chairman), J. K/ingdon, C. Jarrett, A. C. Hill. 0. A. Hill, E. A. Harris, and J. Keeley. LEAMINGTON RSSE:YVI3S. Letters were received ; the Lands and De:ds Office notifying the Board that the certificates of titles for Leamington reserves were in course of preparation. TRANSFER OF SECTION. J. A. H. Bell asking for lease of [section ioecupiad !>y J. C. Bell to be i transferred to hira?elf.—Application to 'be granted if applicant proved of age. A LOAN. Public Trustee stating; he was prepared to consider the application for a loan of £6OO at 5 per cent, with a sinldng fund of 1 per cent, provided the loan was sieciu-ed by a special rate. ENTRANCES WANTED. W. J. Wiiyte asking for an entrance to bis sections and offering to contribute £! to cost of sameMessrs Rinedon, Harris, and Keeley were l appointed to interview Mr; Wbyte, and empowered to act. R. Kingfdon asking for a road to his section.—Decide.! to do the work whan labor was available. RATING ON UNIMPROVED VALUES. Mrs Rout requesting that sometbiing ibe done in the way of repairing Campbell-street.—lt was decided to leave the matter with Mr C. Jarrett. IMPOUNDING. It wias retsolved 'that the ranger be instructed to enforce the impounding, by-laws against two residents for allowing stock to stray. WHEEL TRAFFIC ENTRANCE. It was resolved to make a wheel traffic entrance and foot entranoe to Mr Beers' property. ACCOUNTS. A number of accounts were passed for payment totalling £69. DOMAIN BOARD. The members then sat as a Domain Board. It was pointed out that the well had gone dry in the Domain. After considerable discussion it ! 'was decided that Messrs White and -Jarrett consult Mr Richards, wbo has a 'horing apparatus, on the subject. Several accounts were passed for payment.
