4 CYCLIST RENDERED UNCONSCIOUS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) CAMBRIDGE, This day. A young man natnod Bertlc-son, of Rotoorangi met with an accident which nearly proved fatal, about 11 o'clock last niglbt when riding beme on a bicycle from Cambridge, where he had been spending tba e\ ening. He had just crossed the high level bridge over the Waikato when lie collided with another cyclist named Dray, neither having lights. Both weroi thrown w&h» 'gn*at tfarce, and Dray was cut ai>out the jaw, but Bertlesen was rendered insensible by a fall on the forehead. He was carried into Mr (Holcroft's house. Dr. Edmunds was fetched a nd remained all night with him. This morning, he was removed to the Victoria Private Hospital. He is progressing favorably it will be some (time before he recovers from the concussion.
