f ♦ t THEjI'RECIPROCAL TREATY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jauuarv 8. L The reciprocal Customs treaty * between South Africa and New Zealand is gazetted. It provides that the duties on goods the produce or manufacture of New Zealand imported by the South African colonies Cape Colony, Natal, Orangia, Transvaal and Southern Rhodesia) shall A be: Bran, Is; flour, 2s 3d; oats, If : lOd; wheat, Is per cental. Butter 2d per lb; cheese, 12 per cent ac valorem; meats, Id per lb. A 1 other goods, except spir its, '2-3 pel cent less than the duty which woult otherwise be paid. Duties on goods or manufacture! the produce of the South Africai f colonies imported by New Zealam •will be: Feathers, 15 per cent. a< valorem; tish, Hd per lb; fruits dried and green, free; maize, lid sugar, Is «d per cental; tobaccc manufactured, 2s Gd lb; tea no otherwise exempt, Id per lb; wine | other than sparkling, 2s per gallon li wines sparkling, -5s per gallon; a! ?V other goods, except spirits, 25 pc I cent, less than the duty which woul - 1 otherwise be paid.
