DEATH OF MR SHAIN
THE INQUEST
NELSON, this day. At the inquest on Mr Shain, of the Public Works Department, who was found dead in his office, the medical evidence showed that the deceased must have died a week ago from asphyxia, the result of burying his face in his waistcoat during an epileptic fit. A verdict in accordanoo with this testimony was returned.
