At the close of business hours on Chii-t----rnas Eve, a very pleasing function took place in the ollite of Messrs Dillicar Bros, when Mr T. li. Dillicar, the senior partner of the firm, was presented with a very handsome chair in the occasion of his approaching mirriage. Mr McNeish, in benalf of the stall made the presentation, nnd in a neat speech expressed their best wishes for Mr Dillicar's future happiness and prosperity. Mr Diliicar very feelingly replied. lie heartily appreciated their kindness, and thanked the members of the very handsome gift and for their good wishes.
