OHAUPO RACING CLUB, This popular country meeting, to be bald on January 16tb, promises to be the most success!" ul yet held by the Club. There were eight events on the programme, but in consequence of the New Zealand Trotting Association only allowing two trotting dventa, the Committee have withdrawn the Loci I Handicap Trot of 15 sovs mi added the stakes to the two other trotting events, making the stakes for the First Handicap Trot 4D sova. and the Second Handicap Trot 30 sovs., which are very liberal prizes for a oountry meeting. The races will be held as usual on Mr H. J. Greenslade'a property at Kaipaki, and Mr Geo. Verooe is still the genial Secretary. Nominations close on January 3, handicaps declared on January 7, and acceptance for all races-on January 11.
