The Hon. J. A. Tole, Crown Prosecutor arrived in Hamilton yesterday.
Mr and Mrs Langley Shaw returned to Pauiilt'jQ yesterday from an extended tour of the South Island.
Mr E. Gerard, C'tlieial .Assignee at Auckland, is ;it present in Hamilton on business oonnected with bankruptcy proceedings.
Mr H. J. Greenslade, M.H.R., has received a telegram from tie Hon. J. A. Miliar, Minister of Labour, stating that he will arrive in Auckland to-morrow, and is now in communication with him, suggesting that he should extend his visit to Waikato. Mr Greenslade left tor Auckland to-day, and will consult with the Minister on the su'ij >ct on his arrival.
Mr C. Lewis, M.H.R., confirms the report that he has purchased the Paraetotara oatate in Hawkb's Bay. He intends to take up his residenoe there about March Ist. Bis departure from Canterbury will not recess irily mean relinquishing the Courtenay seat, but he proposes to take a cert iin course, particulars of which will be forthcoming later.
