The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company Limited reports:—On Wednesday, November 28tb, at Pirongia, we yarded 360 odd cattle and report a successful sale. The bidding was brisk throughout for all classes only one pen of forward cows being reserved at the hammer. LONDON WOOL SALES. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following message from their London House, under date 27th instant:— Wool.—" The market opened strong for all Borts of wool. There is spirited competition and a good American demand. Ab compared with last sales' closing rates prices are about 10 per oent. higher for gyaasy merino super, ooarse cross-bred slipe and coarse scmred crossbred, and about 5 per cei : i. higher for medium and inferior merino, medium and £ne crossbred slipe, medium and fine croiabred ccoured and greasy croiabred. The supplies were insufficient to test the market.''
