The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following message from their London House, under date 27th instant:— Wool.—" The market opened strong for all Borts of wool. There is spirited competition and a good American demand. Ab compared with last sales' closing rates prices are about 10 per oent. higher for gyaasy merino super, ooarse cross-bred slipe and coarse scmred crossbred, and about 5 per cei : i. higher for medium and inferior merino, medium and £ne crossbred slipe, medium and fine croiabred ccoured and greasy croiabred.
