THE DEATH OF AN INFANT.
A CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER. (Br Telegraph.—Press Association). AUCKLAND, this day. William F. Clausen, of Otahuhu, was arrested on a charge of manslaughter in connection with the death of his infant child, which took place at Otahuhu on October 29th. He was remanded until Saturday. At the inquest the jury brought in a verdict of death from natural causes, but added a rider that carelessness had been shown by the deceased's parents, the father being especially to blame.
