A PECULIAR SUICIDE.
♦ A HUMILIATED SERGEANT. BERLIN, November •">. A sergeant, at Bremen barracks after being subjected to disciplinary punishment, ordered his men to load with blank cartridge, and surreptitiously substituted ball eartaidge when the men were practising. He then directed them to lire at his heart as a target, and met his death.
